As a liver doctor who has treated patients with hepatitis B for decades, this change to the vaccine schedule is a mistake. The hepatitis B vaccine is safe and effective. The birth dose is a recommendation, NOT a mandate.
Before the birth dose was recommended, 20,000 newborns a year were infected with hepatitis B. Now, it’s fewer than 20. Ending the recommendation for newborns makes it more likely the number of cases will begin to increase again. This makes America sicker.
Acting CDC Director O’Neill should not sign these new recommendations and instead retain the current, evidence-based approach.

What a privilege it was to be featured as a #southasian#female#physician always remember my roots! 💕
You need to believe you are better than most people.
Not because you’re superior to them, but because what most people create isn’t that good.
If you don’t believe that you can create something at least slightly better than what is already out there – the product, the app, the writing, the designs, the photos – then you are lying to yourself, and you will never produce great work.
We just completed the largest solar + battery project in the Caribbean — on Jumby Bay Island, Antigua. 🇦🇬 🌎
A massive 233.28 kW @teslaenergy Solar Roof, powered by 9 inverters and 9 @SolArkSolar L3-HV-40KWH battery stacks (that’s 72 battery modules!).
This project was no joke — and it’s exactly what separates Good Faith Energy from the rest.
Our roofing and electrical crews worked 15 days straight to complete Phase 2, backed by the relentless support of our sales, engineering, and project management teams.
This was a full-team effort, start to finish. 💪
It’s officially up and running — and it’s just the beginning.
We’re bringing solar resilience to the Caribbean one rooftop at a time.

In the 1930s, Willem Kolff watched a young man die from kidney failure and set out to create a machine to replace kidney function. During WWII, while stationed at a remote Dutch hospital, he built an early dialysis machine using everyday items like sausage casings and a washing machine. He also saved over 800 people from the Germans by hiding them in his hospital and later invented the artificial heart.
