After much consideration, it's time to establish myself here on twitter. Rather than using this platform wandering aimlessly, I'm using it to spread the Gospel and bring sight to the blind!
@Mtanganyika1234@Vitus_oss Because everything in the Mass is developed from the Bible, not the other way around. All of it is to increase the sacredness of the Last Supper, the core of our worship. Not everything that Jesus did is recorded in the Bible.
@Mtanganyika1234@Vitus_oss When a small part of the consecrated host is placed in the consecrated wine, it becomes the fullness of the body and blood of Christ as the 2 parts represent the humanity and divinity of Jesus, coming together, symbolising the unity of Christ's body and blood
@Mtanganyika1234@Vitus_oss Every parish is given a limited budget for living costs of priests and running the church, while the Catholic Church is running at a loss being the biggest charitable organisation. The body is only the fullness when the priest mixed the Eucharist with the consecrated wine.
@Mtanganyika1234@Vitus_oss 1. Cost of wine to provide to every single person in the congregation
2. When you consume the body, you are already receiving the fullness of Jesus
3. The body and blood are one because the priest breaks a small part of the host and puts it in the chalice during the Agnus Dei
@Bible_Doctrines@theolojesus Initial justification is a gift. Afterwards, you will be judged by your actions. Haven't you read Romans 2? Or Hebrews 10? Sins even after initial justification have consequences and you will pay for them one way or another. Thinking you are saved despite of your sin is prideful
@Catholic_bro Talked to one and tried being charitable talking about being the second lung of the church. And he just straight up fired arguments at me of how the Catholic Church isn't the true Church. Can't stand these people
@Bible_Doctrines@theolojesus Sinners. Sins can be forgiven, but it's consequences don't just disappear. Just look at David. He did a census when he isn't supposed to. God forgave him but David still need to bear the consequences. The first sin of disobedience also had the consequence of the next sin: murder
@Bible_Doctrines@theolojesus When you're saved and still not in heaven, not being able to reject salvation goes against the fundamental principles of who God is because you no longer have free will.
@Bible_Doctrines@theolojesus If they are saved, there is a high probability they will do works. If you think it is a certainty, it means you lose your free will. Grace gives initial justification, a gift from God. After, it is with your free will to cooperate with that grace to remain saved.
@robbswallace @riecker Man are limited by the sacraments but God isn't. Jesus literally says that he is saved. Also, he hasn't established that Baptism saves yet because that only happened at the great commission.
@TiddyPuzzy@ReformedToRome@Truth_matters20 Step 1: Ignore the post
Step 2: says a comment that has nothing to do with addressing the post except to rehash
Come on, you aren't even addressing the rebuttal given above
@LargoElemento First of all, you can fake emails and texts. Second, you need more than just texts and images to verify the identity as you can photoshop/use Gen AI. Third, Voice of Reason isn't Roman Catholic
@Cruelestever_@kecharitomene9@BibleInContext1 They were circulated, yes. But there was no common consensus on what is the complete list of books that were canonical due to different churches having different letters. Letters of St Paul were spread to different communities. The Corinthians considered 1 Samuel as Scripture.
