I was told by one of their senior technical officers (after relentless follow-up) that reliable water supply will "most likely" resume when sogea satom completes the project — estimated to be completed over a year from now. 😏
You can't lead what you can't see.
Scattered data. Late reports. Surprises at payroll, at stock-take, at exam time.

Could you name your true fee arrears, your slowest-progressing class, and what's actually in your store room — right now, without calling anyone?
Most can't. Not because the data's missing — because it's scattered.

QUOTE: "[Ugandans]...are taken as a special case, but Special is applied in the way we would refer to a child with intellectual disability. It is not a compliment....."
Dr Ian Clarke's piece is more of a PRECISE CLINICIAN'S ASSESSMENT than an Opinion column.
A SNAPSHOT OF THE COUNTRY'S CURRENT REALITY; 🧎♂️!
You're interrupting nothing! There has not been reliable water supply at all and the notice is just a fraudulent PR stunt.
@nwscug We see you — and your services have been very poor!
22 hours later, 4 more beyond your designated timeline for resumption of services — zero!
Water Supply Interruption– Wakiso & Kakiri
Dear Valued Customers,
We wish to inform you that NWSC, through our contractor SOGEA SATOM, is carrying out important pipe-laying works along Hoima Road under Project Package 2B.
This project will stabilise and significantly improve water supply reliability to Wakiso and surrounding areas.
To allow safe and efficient completion of the works in sections with limited utility corridor space, we have temporarily interrupted water supply.
Affected Areas Include:
Wakiso Town, Kayunga, parts of Gombe, Kasangombe, Kyoga-Banda Road, Namusera, Kakunyu, Mende, Kakiri, Kikumbampanga, Kiterede, Mpunga, Muyomba and surrounding areas.
Expected Duration:
The works are scheduled to take approximately 18 hours. Normal water supply will be restored progressively once completed.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.
These essential works form part of our ongoing commitment to delivering better service to you.

Another exciting week for the TriedSM team.
We're grateful for the growing confidence schools continue to place in TriedSM. Following a successful demonstration this week, we're preparing to onboard another multi-campus institution.
It's encouraging to see school leaders increasingly looking beyond digitization and focusing on real-time visibility, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
The future of school management is not just about keeping records—it's about empowering leadership.

Schools do not need more promises about digital transformation.
They need solutions that understand their challenges, respect their workflows, and support their growth.
They need a better experience with technology.

It isn't about replacement, but the things that increase when you stop drinking. Most of these attributes are intangible — you get an increased measure of hope, faith, clarity of purpose. When you put first things first, second things aren't decreased, but increased. God first!
Nothing in life is more disturbing than to interact with a counterfeit character. What the world needs rn are authentic pple. Authenticity isn't a quality you learn thru an educational process or experimentation. It is a natural manifestation of the inherent authority in a person
Why did that URA employee refuse the money that was offered to her from the $10.2m she found in the container, first of all the money wasn’t even from the government. It was owned individually owned by someone who secured his deal from abroad, i keep telling you that if you want to maintain generational wealth get a bright wife.
For years, paper-based systems have seemed like the “affordable” option. Files, receipt books, and manual records feel manageable—until you look closer.
The real cost of paper-based administration is not in what schools spend—it is in what they steadily lose over time.
These are honest and logical questions worth wrestling with. The Bible invites that kind of engagement.
On the two creation accounts in Genesis 1 and 2, they are not contradictions or evidence of a divine mistake. Genesis 1 gives the broad overview. God creates humanity as male and female together on day six. He blesses them and commands them to be fruitful and multiply. That is the big picture design from the start. Genesis 2 then zooms in on the personal and relational side of the same event. It shows how that male female partnership was formed and why it matters. Ancient writing often used this complementary style of overview plus detail rather than strict modern chronology.
On Adam's reproductive system, the command to reproduce is already there in Genesis 1:28 before the detailed Genesis 2 account. Reproduction was always part of the original blueprint for humanity. Adam was not created as an incomplete prototype. The text presents him as fully formed male from the beginning with the complementary female Eve completing the pair so they could fulfill that command together.
On God saying it is not good for the man to be alone in Genesis 2 verse 18, this does not mean God was surprised or that Eve was an afterthought. The narrative shows God intentionally leading Adam through the experience. He has Adam name the animals so Adam could feel the incompleteness and deeply appreciate the gift of a true partner. It is pedagogical.
God is teaching humanity about relational design. The Hebrew phrase for Eve as helper 'ezer kenegdo' is strong. 'Ezer' often describes God's own powerful help rather than a subordinate assistant. Kenegdo means corresponding to him or equal counterpart, a matching strength rather than a lesser one.
The sequence highlights a core truth. Humans are wired for mutual interdependence rather than solitary self sufficiency. The whole story underscores partnership as very good.
Appreciate you raising this. It is how we grow in understanding the text. The Bible holds up when we read it carefully in its own context even if it stretches our modern assumptions.
Education may be global, but school systems must be local.
There’s a second truth we don’t talk about enough:
👉 Local alone is not enough — quality matters.
Poorly designed local systems can be just as frustrating as imported ones.

If manual systems are so difficult, why are many schools still using them?
From our experience working with schools:
1. Some fear digital systems will be complicated
2. Others worry about costs.
3. Many schools don’t have ICT staff.
