@rohan_vartak @rajtoday Blue line doesn't have platform screen doors like the Red, Yellow and Aqua lines so it's fairly easy for someone to get down onto the tracks. Though they have security personnel who keep an eye for unauthorised activity.

@mumbaimatterz @HT_Mumbai HT made an error with the old 2014 fares, they have mentioned ₹15 for 15-20 Km and ₹19 for above 20 Km whereas the line itself is only 19.5 Km. The actual fare slab was ₹19 for 15 Km and above. They don't fact check or proofread before publishing 😅

@PaushaliSahu The era of FM is over. Newer smartphones don't have an inbuilt FM tuner & wired headsets that used to act as antennas have been replaced by TWS earbuds.
Mobile data has become cheap & subscription to ad-free music has become affordable. No one has the time to waste on FM ads 🤷🏻

@Vernongodlittl @DailyIranNews But that will give Iran enough time to replenish its own misile stockpiles, repair the damaged launchers & radars. Enough time to buy modern aircrafts & air defence systems from Russia and China due to removed sanctions. Both parties will come back stronger for the final showdown

@mumbaimatterz @HT_Mumbai The major advantage of Monorail 🚝 is that it is much cheaper to build and operate than Metro 🚇. But in this case the revised fares are much higher even than Aqua line which cost way more to build. Monorail will give 19.5 Km in ₹70 while Aqua line gives 33 Km at the same price.

Just like people say Pydhonie instead of Vijay Vallabh chowk, or Metro cinema instead of Vasudev Balwant Phadke chowk.

Station ka name ek garden ke upar rakha gaya tha jiska colonial name Kings circle tha, usi garden ko rename karke Maheshwari Udyan naam rakha gaya. Toh by logic station ka name wohi hona chahiye

@90sCow @VeerArjey Even with your Haji Ali example, the official name of that chowk is Vatsalbhai Desai chowk and that is the name printed on bus stops also. But any commuter while buying the ticket asks the conductor for ticket to Haji Ali only not Vatsalbhai Desai chowk.

@90sCow @VeerArjey I'm not being offended bro, I respect all communities. My point is only that stations should be named after popular landmarks so that commuters don't get confused while travelling.
Even Mumbai metro named Mumbai Central station as Jagannath Shankar Seth & most ppl are clueless.

@90sCow @VeerArjey There is no station by the name of Haji Ali. Both the local train station & the Racecourse are named after Mahalaxmi even though Haji Ali is closer to them distance wise compared to Mahalaxmi temple.
The road is named LalaLajpatrai marg only. So which vote bank is being appeased?

@DelayMeter_IN The amount of Red Tapism for infrastructure projects in India is insane. 7 years since the initial DPR was submitted and still awaiting Clarence from the central government is unthinkable.

Had this been in China or Japan the line would've been commissioned within 3-4 yrs of DPR.
