@exfatloss Likely just a dosage problem. 1/4 lb of beef liver per week is no problem. Can easily overdose both copper and Vitamin A at higher quantities of liver
@markeatsmeat@DaveCharbonneau I always felt groggy from melatonin when I used to use several mgs. I now use a quarter of a 1 mg melatonin tablet, and it improves my sleep. Also the note above about timing is important. 90 minutes before sleep is about right. Lastly Source Naturals has 1 mg lozenges that work.
@markeatsmeat@DaveCharbonneau With melatonin dose matters alot. The typical supplement doses are much too high. There is a paper that shows that 0.25 mg of melatonin dosed orally raises plasma melatonin concentrations by the same amount as the normal rise produced by the pineal gland.
@Aaron_A_Thomas@Bianco_Lab If free T3 rises steadily as you increase T4, and reverse T3 stays in the lower half of the reference range, then you dont have a conversion issue.
@Aaron_A_Thomas@Bianco_Lab In the lower doses. TSH rises from low 2’s to 3.5 at 25 mcg T4. So for me, the SNPs and dose response for T4 shows slow conversion. This is a long way of saying for your case, you’ll want to look at how free T3 and reverse T3 respond to increasing or decreasing T4 dosage.
@jmat5555558@NeurologistMom I dont know of an alternative commercial product. Many options with home cooking, though perhaps there are specific requirements that make that difficult.
@Aaron_A_Thomas@Bianco_Lab Here is a blog post on deiodinase SNPs by Paul Robinson. He is a very knowledgable thyroid patient who has published several books for patients that are worth reading: https://t.co/LdEFHvbqxK
Do you remember #DuringCOVID when >200,000 Americans were estimated to get infected with COVID each day and there was growing political unrest?
I remember too.
Because it is today.
