Those bringing up Gaza in response to the pogroms in Amsterdam are doing nothing but revealing their own internal antisemitism.

If innocent Muslims around the world were being attacked for the alleged or actual actions of Islamists, everybody would rightfully condemn this as hatred against Muslims, and rightfully point out that innocent Muslim civilians should not be targeted for what Jihadist regimes are or are not doing in the Middle East (slaughtering and oppressing millions).

Yet, whenever Jews are attacked anywhere in the world, it’s suddenly justified because Jews and the Israeli government are inseparable to them. The reason they are inseparable is precisely because of dehumanization: a government is not human, and by making all Jews synonymous with the Israeli government, they lose their designation as human and are therefore all deserving of violence against them.

This didn’t happen by accident. Not in the 1940’s, and not today.
