Thank you for coordinating the first African regional review meeting for the implementation of the #Global Compact or Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration. I am proud that the interventions of multistakeholders centre on the #African perspective and #narrative.
As a young migrant, I'm well aware of how limited access a migrant can face when landing in foreign local communities. Today, I work on providing economic business opportunities for young #African entrepreneurs.

@EbenezarWikina I listened to a Lee Kwan Yew interview where he talked about thinking in centuries.
It is clear our leaders are only interested in amassing wealth & power to execute the next election cycle.
No one thinks of what it will take for Nigeria to become a great country in say 50 yrs
Justice Omukoro took his time to welcome her to court.
He kindly acknowledged her presence, noting he had not seen her face before in his courtroom.
He calmed her nerves and assured her that every lawyer was once a new a new wig.

She had arrived court late and her clients case was already mentioned.
At the time, he was writing a ruling and she managed to to say "Please my lord, don't rule on cost against my client, I am here."
He finished his writing and he looked up with warmth.

A young lawyer shared her first appearance in Justice Omukoro’s courtroom.
As a new wig, she was nervous and unsure of what to do. What Justice Omukoro gave her wasn’t just patience — it was dignity.

Justice Omukoro isn't just a title.
He didn’t just wear the robe — he carries it with kindness, patience, and quiet strength.
A presence that brings calm to the courtroom and compassion to those around him.

Justice Omukoro is not just a judge.
He is a man who stands for fairness and walks with integrity.
His safety matters. His life matters.
We must speak until they return him safely.
We must never be silent.

This experience still lingers with her.
She remembers his humanity — the dignity with which he carried his role and the dignity he extended to her.
That’s who was taken.
That’s who we are fighting for.
That’s who we want back—alive and unharmed

Free Hon Justice E.G Umukoro, a judge of the High Court of Bayelsa state, abducted at Kilimanjaro restaurant. All citizens of good conscience must raise their voices. We cannot continue like this.
If a sitting High Court judge is not safe in Nigeria…
…what hope is there for ordinary people?
This is more than one man.
It’s about all of us.
Our justice system.
Our dignity.
Our safety. @abati1990@NigBarAssoc@AmnestyNigeria#FreeHonJusticeOmukoro
The question is not just who did it
…but who benefits from his silence?
The authorities say they’re investigating
