Concordia University in Montreal has shut down the Montreal Institute for Genocide Studies (MIGS).

Although ‘experts’ tell CBC that the decision is ‘baffling’, there’s nothing baffling about it whatsoever.

The managing director of this disgraceful institute was @kylecmatthews. Matthews is a fanatical supporter of NATO and Israel.

Although MIGS was supposedly committed to the study of genocide, it did nothing to promote awareness of Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

Matthews is also a fanboy of Irwin Cotler, Canada’s loudest apologist for Israel’s genocidal regime.

The fact that MIGS was funded for so long by Concordia is actually an embarrassment to the university. Concordia should have expended those funds to support academics who truly care about human rights and international law.
