One of the snowiest years on record for this area was 1948. Shreveport recorded 12.4" measured over the month of January 1948. Here are a few snowy scenes from campus during that year.

These ETBC snow angels and sledders could be seen on the hill behind Scarborough Hall (then chapel) in 1982.

Our next snowy throw back photo is from 1984. ETBC students used cafeteria trays to slide down the hill. Fun fact - one of these trays has been preserved in the University Archives!
