Start an “elite” travel team, 15 guys at every age group from 8u to 18u, $2,500 a kid, get one legitimate coach and a bunch of randoms, go to every “national tournament” and win one of the 7 brackets in each age group and market yourselves as a “National championship” winning organization.

This is the most true and funniest stuff ever. When I played D1 ball we had 1 freshman getting any playing time. The rest of the freshman rode the pine or got redshirted then ended up transfering anyways 😂 kids and parents just don’t get it

Just told by the 3rd guy today that I'm not interested. im waiting on a d1 offer. WAKE UP. IF it comes, you will sit, and then you wasted one year of eligibility for what. Go where you play develop, then go after your stock has gone up and get a better offer.

No offense to summer coaches, I did it for a long time, but kids getting recruited solely off the word of summer coaches is wild. That guys has seen him for a few weeks vs his college coach that had him for a yr or more. Not to mention had to deal with academics, dorm/living, etc

Juco recruiting has been hurt by so many programs not having synergy and trackman.

Back in the day guys got out and saw kids and made evaluations. Now if you don’t have video and data it’s tough to get people to pay attention. Recruiting has gotten extremely lazy IMO.

Last few years I have seen lots of kids re-classing because they want to go a D1 Powerhouse and then when it’s all over they end up at a D3. D3 is a great option but you didn’t need to re-class to get there. JUCO is another good option without re-classing! Anyone else seeing this?

I’ve only played with 1-2 catchers that are even consistently in the 1.9s. This is actually funny because the catchers I’ve seen in the 1.9s are 88+ from behind the plate… every single one of these kids must be better than the pro guys I’ve played with according to perfect game

We can't be serious with this? You are trying to tell me a a 2027 was a 1.71 pop? There is absolutely ZERO chance. It's not the kids fault they are just do what is rewarded. There can not be a college coach or pro scout that will see this as anywhere close to accurate.
