@VitalikButerin@OptiPunk For the last couple years the Ethflippening dapp/prediction market has allocated 6% of all NFT sales / resales to the gitcoin matching fund. Funds accumulate in the open source contract and anyone can disburse. https://t.co/nudxzaVbzG
@BloomCapital_ I mean.... we already have a decentralized NFT prediction market where you can bet when this happens, or if BTC is still top in April 2025 at https://t.co/uOmqB3EbR9
6% of all sales go straight to gitcoin
@RyanSAdams@davidmarcus At https://t.co/uOmqB3EbR9, we run an NFT/Prediction market where people can bet on the month the flippening occurs, or BTC people can bet no flippening within 4 years
Let's go! Time for everyone to help do their part to #testthemerge.
You can get 50 free testnet ETH, run a validator, etc. Check out this great guide from @superphiz https://t.co/C6PaNovGNM
If you're interested in joining the Kintsugi public merge testnet for the beacon chain, but you're having technical hesitancy, you're in luck! @remy_roy and I did a walk-through video of the process: https://t.co/LWsgLgvLUN
@CardanoDean Doesn't make sense for ETH in particular, because the largest contracts don't own the ETH that they hold. For instance, the 2 largest are the beacon chain (250,000) validators and Wrapped ETH (350,000 accounts)
@koinosthegoat @wenyuansama @ultrasoundmoney it's a balance, because issuance is constant to pay for security, but burn is based on usage. If there is no economic value to tx at current fees, supply will increase and fees (in fiat) will go down.
Happy birthday beacon chain!
Here's an updated roadmap diagram for where Ethereum protocol development is at and what's coming in what order.
(I'm sure this is missing a lot, as all diagrams are, but it covers a lot of the important stuff!)
