@bryan_johnson My co-founder created some longevity-focused Traditional Chinese Medicine.
It would be super interesting to have you try because i haven’t seen your take on TCM yet.

Huge collab between Fauna Bio and Eli Lilly looking for the next anti-obesity drug to overcome semaglutide problems. Fauna specializes in genetics of animals, such as hibernation genes that affect metabolism, which is uncovering some likely candidates.

@RapaNews@bryan_johnson Legendary comedian Norm Macdonald. I remember this bit from several years back. Sorry for the bad quality, it was all I could find after looking for it.
More data showing senolytics may improve COVID-19 outcomes, linking senescent cells to human brain health through human organoids and postmortem brain tissue. Now that COVID-19 is endemic, senotherapeutics may be needed to successfully treat long COVID.

DNA methylation is increasingly seen as a way to functionally reverse aging. Reality is not so simple because reversing methylation in some cells (e.g. DNA damaged cells) may lead to cancer. The first approach should likely be to remove damaged cells.

NAD+ is chewed up by CD38, which may lead to fertility decline in women. Senescent cells overexpress CD38, so removing senescent cells may increase fertility. We hope to test this hypothesis with the novel small molecules we recently created.

Spermidine supplementation may enhance female fertility during aging. Possibly a low cost, safe treatment. Human studies are needed first because sensitive fetal development should always be approached with care.

Teens are treating their aging skin already. Seems outrageous, but common sense, low risk prevention is worth a pound of cure later. Many of us saw similar preventative measures with sunscreen use in our lifetime, now it's expanding further.

Birgit Schilling's lab just published a new protein dataset for bone aging. The reality is that bone fragility is a huge issue, especially with osteoporosis in women over 50. This study may lead to quick repurposing of existing, FDA-approved drugs for bone aging.

Stem cell reprogramming was thought to be a gene therapy injection due to its complexity. Now, it might be a pill!
I know a few people were thinking about this idea, including myself. Sheng Ding at UCSF was forward enough looking to be working on this for over a decade too!

Apelin improved muscle quality in this study. I have seen studies on apelin improving heart and brain function previously, so this molecule from BioAge could be a game changer.

Older parents tend to have children with higher rates of autism and birth defects. Some therapeutics targeting aging may restore the "quality" of embryos to reduce this probability, although research is still very early.
