@Niklander3 Casting doesn't fix a dumb movie. It was derivative ah...I sat there feeling like I was watching another Guardians movie.
They even ripped off that Babo Frick (sp?) character from Star Wars - the little tiny guy in the ship.
They at least gave him a regular voice.
@BlackMajikMan90 Even from the trailer, it looks like a movie made by people who THINK this is what fans of the genre want - derivative dialogue, action and scenery (straight out of Guardians) with villains straight out of an 80’s Saturday morning Tv show.
@AxelTalksFilm Don’t start blaming certain “demographics” for not showing up for a movie that just looks silly, derivative, corny and totally pointless.
@mjarbo I knew it. So many were so excited when he talked about never moving forward until scripts are complete - as if he knew something Marvel didn’t.
Yea right. You can say that in interviews, but in reality, anything can happen. Things change.
@DanielRPK The first Wonder Woman did awesome at the box office. Because it was an awesome movie.
Then Jenkins decided to change it up and make it goofy.
When WB stops making terrible DC movies, regardless of whether they’re female led or not, then fans will show.
@BlackMajikMan90@DanielRPK WRONG. Antman & the Wasp was also released at the same time period and didn’t come close to a billion, so there goes that bs theory of yours.
@Irfan_1x The lines in the trailer sound mostly silly and dumb…and scenes look straight out of a Guardians film (regardless of the fact that Gunn didn’t direct).
That might be why.
Too many DC films, way too many, have been too derivative and just not great.
@Rant__A__Holic No. What you said is ridiculous. He’s not expecting everything to be positive.
He’s being badgered - some of you “fans” need to get lives outside your phones and stop harassing people for recreation.
