This is beyond crazy. A sitting member of the United States House of Representatives has travelled into war-torn parts of Nigeria, spoken to victims, gathered evidence, and is preparing a report for the President of the United States about Nigerians being killed. Meanwhile, not a single member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, not one committee, not one panel of inquiry, has done the same for the President of Nigeria. Let that sink in.

Rep. Moore from the United States is more invested in the safety and well-being of Nigerians than the people elected to represent Nigerians. And Donald Trump is taking these reports more seriously than Tinubu or the entire Nigerian National Assembly. It is genuinely shameful. When foreign lawmakers care more about Nigerian lives than Nigerian leaders, you know something is deeply, fundamentally broken.

Trump’s 10% tariff threat?
That’s not diplomacy that’s economic blackmail.
But Nigeria shouldn’t blink. Not now.

Let’s stop pretending like we owe the U.S. loyalty at the expense of our future. BRICS offers us:
A seat at a multipolar table, not just crumbs from Washington
Alternative financial systems that reduce dependence on the dollar
Real investment opportunities without the colonial tone

And here’s the part we often forget:

👉🏽 If the U.S. slaps a 10% tariff on Nigeria, then Nigeria should respond in kind.
Match it. Mirror it. Send the message: we are not your backyard economy.

Trade is a two-way street and respect must be mutual.
Enough of this one-sided “partnership” where we get punished for thinking independently.

This is bigger than BRICS. It’s about dignity, sovereignty, and long-term strategy.

Nigeria should not fold.
