It is accepted that harmful content will always exist, but Facebook intentionally amplifies content that will increase engagement- and Facebook recognizes that hate speech and misinformation is the type of content that increases engagement. This is something Facebook controls.

The Court firmly misunderstood the central ask of the petition. It was not a request for “pre-censorship” of Rohingya content. It was to order Facebook not to *amplify* harmful content.
