@MomBug @MountRainierNPS while cash is certainly legal currency, there are no federal laws at this point in time mandating that businesses — public or private — must accept cash as a form of payment. complaining to the NPS won’t change that; you need to petition your representatives to pass legislation.

@taimi3028 @MountRainierNPS it’s possible too that they said April 10th, then deleted that Tweet and reposted with the generic “mid April” — based on how they’ve managed (unmanaged?) things this winter, it wouldn’t surprise me. also, the FAQs originally said “spring” for 7 days a week, and they changed that
