@LennartBolliger @lyndhilary @AfricaInDC @Lazlo_P Military intelligence files are generally tricky, and the chance of declassification is not good. Depending of course what your asked for. I guest the reasons for denial might come out of the Defence Act, which permits them to withhold sensitive information.

@baldricman @dalebase @LordCodrus @Von_Poopshtafle No worries - 1922 was actually quite important in terms of airpower in SA. Aircraft deployed again towards end of May during Bondelswarts Rebellion. Working on article about this too, will share both when done!

Another older one, a pic of the SAAF's front-line fast jets at AFB Waterkloof in 1966. I still maintain that those accented bare metal paint schemes on the Mirage IIICZs & IIIEZs, Sabres, and Canberras was the best-looking of all.

@darren_olivier Note that the DOD published a new PAIA Manual this year. Some improvements made, but a lot of problems remain to be addressed.
