Heritage buildings are an asset, not a liability. They demand site-specific solutions when adding density. On the one hand, this results in interesting places (think @DistilleryTO, @atthebarns , @QRCWest), on the other, it drives up value. @FoundryFriends HT @UrbStrat

Foundry Square, by @FoundryFriends, @KGreenbergTO and @kpmbarch. Existing warehouse buildings are taken as inspiration for the design. Public space, affordable housing, density in proximity to public amenities, exceptional transit and the waterfront. So many good things.....
