Kardashov civilization scale, talking about total energy harnessed by it, gets it all wrong.
What really marks civilization scale is the power of applied computations it is able to make per unit of time. (“Applied” means that they are used by civilization in reaching its goals.)
This is the real civilization scale. “Orlovsky scale” :)
LNP/BP Standards Association announces RGB version 0.12 with the release candidate 1. As of today, it is the most tested and robust version.
Over the last half of the year, we have brought zk-STARK readiness to the RGB (making it "zk-STARKy"), a huge performance boost, and a lot of simplification and security improvements.
The release candidate is for all developers working with RGB, so they can integrate it into their software.
🔥RGB v0.12 RC1 is here!🔥🔴🟢🔵
Today is not just another #BitcoinPizzaDay🍕
This day marks an important milestone for #Bitcoin.
After 7 months of tireless work, RGB v0.12 RC1 has been released, bringing RGB smart contracts to the new level.
What does this mean for developers, users and #Bitcoin in general? Short 🧵👇
Huge and systemic review on #AI#agent architectures, also comparing to biological brain and trying to adjust the modern agentic research into a more biologically-inspired direction. 🧵

Thanshumanistic notes: how to define wealth outside of the frame of humanity.
We leave in a mountain of Universe's computational complexity. Its real riches, as gemstones in a mountain, are the pockets of computational reducibility - things we call "scientific knowledge" (or, simply, the knowledge). The real wealth of a civilization is the mined amount of that knowledge.
High entropy and a noise are the computational event horizons.
Heat death of the Universe is a form of technological singularity: a civilization which is able to operate with computational irreducibility will be able to extract energy from a high-entropy system.
Other forms of technical singularity include gravitational collapse into a black hole, when the density of computations exceeds Bremermann's limit.
Many underestimate the risk of not having censorship-resistent high-load computing (able to run at least linear algebra in parallel
Mode - what humans call "AI" and "ML" today) - and overestimate the value of money comparing to it.
When you have a gun and is among some apes, it doesn't matter how much "sound and hard money" those apes have.
Intelligence (as an ability to outperform others in your computing capacity in creating models of the world around) is the ultimate "gun" - and all humans, not able to do that outperformance, are the apes.
Without censorship-resistant scalable computing we will just have tyranny of the scale we never had in the past - and bitcoin-as-money won't save from that.
That's why since 2017 we are building crnsorship-resistance computing platform, and work on technology backing it, like in @UVioletAI and #RGB

I am a strong supporter for generalized molecular nano-assembly, which allows creation and production of hardware (molecular) computational architectures at exa-industrial scale, very robust, energy-efficient and green. Good that such nanoassembler was already released few billions years ago with no human or "natural intelligence" involved.
Its core components are DNA and ribosomes; instead of silicone it uses computational architectures based on some forms of carbohydrates (lipoproteins, nucleoproteins and saccharoproteins).
It's a pity that humanity was too uneducated and unintelligent not to use it and instead tried to reinvent the wheel with this bullshitty and scammy x86, ARM and other attempts which won't withstand the time and are unusable for building any proper interstellar civilization.

The life we know on Earth is chemoelectic computing. It happens that with the physics of our Universe it takes most abundant elements - H, C, O, N - to form everything needed for a universal computing. Hence we have DNA, membranes, cells, multicellular organism, biocenoses, biosphere - which create the simulation environment ("metaverse") we call "life".
Sentience is a different thing. It is a electrochemic emulation layer appearing from chemoelectricity of the life.
Our current tech is much inferior to this: it is mechanic (pre-Maxwell), mechano-electric (pre-Tesla) and electro-mechianic (current). Orders of magnitude simpler, fragile, non-efficient - as at usual proto/quasi-civilization stage which still has a lot to learn from Nature. "Intelligence" humans are "creating" out of it is just a parody.
We need to build new kind of civilization, where the privacy is non-optional, and humans allowed to enter and act only as individuals and not as a society. Non-individual decisions must be impossible: censorship or dictatorship of majority must be excluded at the technical level.
I call such civilization #CypherNox: the night of the absolute privacy and cryptographic integrity. This night should bring the dusk for the collectivistic humanity.
Creating knowledge is the hardest thing we are aware of. Not accepting property rights for intellectual products is promoting theft.
Property rights do not ever require a good to be tangible. Nobody ever doubt property rights over a stock or derivative, while these are clearly intangible goods.
Saying “intellectual property requires government for enforcement” is absolutely bullshit: it requires it the same way the property rights over stock or derivative contracts require it: in no way. You can manage all property rights for any intangible goods, including intellectual products, with just market actors accepting them voluntary, the same way they voluntary accept homestead of tangible goods ownership - and resolve disputes with arbitrage.

Here’s an overview of what’s new 🧵
On money.
Money must be private.
Money must be elastic, otherwise other elastic money take over. Elasticity matches demand with the supply, keeping purchasing power stable. This makes UoA, MoE and SoV - and these three is the literal definition of money.
Private money issuance is the way to achieve elasticity.
Only with elasticity it is possible to build expanding economy which can scale to the size of multi-planetary, and then galactic civilization.
What needs to be fixed is not money, but censorship resistance and privacy of any monetary transaction. Sufficiently decentralized private banking, combined with cryptography, can do that.
Decentralized censorship-resistant secondary stock market 📈 is of paramount importance - and with #RGB we are able to finally have it. A 🧵 why it is so:
I prefer things to be composable rather than universal.
Universality is a lie, and often it comes at the high price: absence of scalability, privacy - or strong centralization.
Instead, with composability, both scalability and privacy come as a consequence.
Examples of composable systems are zero-knowledge proof systems, functional programming, biosphere, symbolic mathematics. Category theory is the framework that simplifies design for composable systems.
Examples of universal systems are global consensus-based systems, attempts to create universal money or store of value, mathematical infinities, eternities, absolutes and other unicorns; which come with sweet unfulfilling promises - but always end up as global totalitarianism, censorship, governance and other forms of universal control systems.
