UPDATE: ๐บ๐ธ Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent called the GENIUS Act "a watershed moment in American finance" and says the OCC's final rule provides a clear, practical foundation for "American leadership in digital assets."
Let me ask you all a question:
Is the supply chain risk...
A.) an AI model that may/likely may not be sending data to a Chinese server
B.) if Deepseek/ China AI is ready to deploy near AGI shennanigans right when Anthropic IPOs, pulling the rug on the AI-entangled US stock market...
The largest disruption in the market or prick to the "bubble" could be what China has no problem giving out for free...
The Department of Homeland Security is requiring all civilian federal agencies to remove DeepSeek products and 'any third-party services developed using DeepSeek implementations,' and to stop buying them.
CHINA HAS DIFFERENT KPIs
- North Star: GDP and Yuan... AI space is a write off lol
- US cares a lot about public market, China cares more about saturation % of their tech into daily life and business
- China is positioned to dominate AI supply chain, enable their aligned capital to benefit, and govern energy and production (between energy and robotics industrial complex)
- US is flexing on a $30bn ARR when China is about to open source your tech for all, look like the good guy, create a massive moat back to China production
- Follow the leverage... China is quiet power... go re-read "Art of War" frens
SOMETHING DOESNโT ADD UP IN CHINA RIGHT NOW
Chinaโs economy grew 4.5% in Q3, faster than expected and up from 4.3% in Q2, which was its weakest in over 3 years.
Even after the rebound, 4.5% is the second slowest quarter since 2023.
Industrial production growth increased to 5.5% in September while fixed-asset investment fell 7.2% in the first nine months of 2026.
China just posted a record monthly trade surplus of $133.5 billion.
Chinaโs growth is driven almost entirely by exports, particularly technology goods sold to the rest of the world.
While domestic economy remains weak as the property sector continues to decline and consumer spending remains weak while infrastructure investment falls 4.2%.
Chinaโs stock market has now fallen for 10 straight weeks, its longest losing streak in history.
So the economy is growing, but the market keeps falling.
Strong manufacturing and exports are making Chinaโs overall economic growth look much stronger than the reality on the ground.
And even exports are now under pressure, as trade tensions with the EU keep rising.
China meeting its growth target doesnโt mean its economy is healthy. It means global demand for Chinese goods remains strong while domestic demand continues to struggle.

I think the bigger move for world is going to be covid-like financial response to businesses and individuals
- UBI based on real world identity
- PPP level financial recovery for verified businesses
Looks a lot like what we were scheming in Ethereum ~2022
THE BLOCK: JPMorgan has brought its USD-denominated deposit token JPM Coin $JPMD to Ethereum for institutional clients.
Kinexys by JPMorgan told The Block that Ethereum's "established depth of onchain liquidity and tokenized assets" makes it a natural next public blockchain for JPMD, which was first launched last year on Base.
