Why are Ferrari letting Leclerc get in the 5 seconds?
Lewis is in a championship fight and they're helping him lose points to Kimi.
I don't understand.
Last tweet from me for a while.
Lewis was P2. He had track position on the hard tyre that would’ve gone the distance. I don’t know why they decided to pit him under the VSC.
Had he lost no places then it would’ve been okay, but they saw how difficult it was to overtake. Why are you giving up track position?
Thrown away a podium. They aren’t serious about winning the championship, not at all. They gotta fix up during the break. Lewis and Ferrari both have to fix up.
They have to be PERFECT in the second half of the season. They won’t be, but that’s the level they need.
I finally have my Rivian R2.
Full exterior and interior walkthrough, first driving and autonomy impressions, accessory testing, and I think I found all of the easter eggs.

FSD feature request:
Please bring back speed control with the roll wheel. I like using hurry mode because of how human like it behaves but I’m not a fan of how fast it goes.
I thought everyone knew this, but: almost everything in “overstock” stores like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Burlington, etc. is actually manufactured specifically to be sold in those stores. Almost none of it is overstock or discounted in any way. The “compare” prices are made up. The home decor, the clothing, the kitchen items, the furniture, all of it. Factories in China and India make tons of this stuff, the corporations choose from catalogs, and then items are branded with familiar names.
While other drivers kept speeding past, Tesla FSD smoothly stopped to let this young girl on a scooter cross safely.
FSD be like, “I’m polite and attentive, and I can do this all day”
My wife is sleeping in the passenger seat while we’re on the highway surrounded by slower moving traffic. She won’t sleep while I’m driving manually, but she somehow trusts it when I’m supervising with FSD engaged. Or is it the other way around where she trusts FSD w/ me supervising? 🧐😂 Who else can relate?
I told her I’d be disputing all 4 charges with my bank today, and that I’d also be filing a complaint with the state attorney general’s consumer protection office, since verbally telling a customer to “just keep cancelling every month” while charging them anyway sounds a lot like a pattern, not a mistake.
Suddenly she needed to “check with a supervisor.”
Ten minutes later: all 4 months refunded, membership cancelled permanently, and an email confirmation sent while I was still on the phone. Funny how fast “that’s just how the system works” becomes “let me fix that
Hey @Carvana My daughter bought a 2018 Camry from one of your locations and had it shipped to Nashville. She took delivery at the Nashville store today. Her inspection lasted all of 5 minutes before she discovered that the spare tire well was full of rusty water.
Someone at your seller location failed big time. She declined delivery, but has been told she must eat the $700 delivery fee.
That’s not right. You guys failed to inspect and remedy the issue before shipping. You need to refund her delivery fee.
A new Supercharger is coming soon to Hays, Kansas!!
Permits were filed earlier this week for a 16-stall V4 station at the Dillons supermarket on Vine St (US-183).
The site is located about 1.5 miles south of Interstate 70, and about 200 miles west of Topeka.
I think V 14 Lite needs an update to parking !! Also need to add a Handicap toggle so it will or won’t park in handicap parking !! Thanks in advance @aelluswamy@elonmusk
Well, it's clear to all the longtime users of FSD v12.6.4 that v14 Lite is, at best, only as good at driving as v12.6.4. It is not better, and it might be worse. The extra features—like destination options—are nice, but they are overshadowed by the very much not improved actual driving. The takeoff and the landing might both be smoother, but the flight is just as bumpy.
So, why are all the Tesla influencers freaking out and calling it amazing? Well, I have a theory. First, they do not use v12.6.4 daily like we HW3 owners do; they all have AI4 vehicles, so nearly all, maybe all, of their recent FSD experience is with v13 and v14. Their memories of v12 are primarily from the version of v12 that was initially replaced by v13 prior to the release of v12.6.4 (which was basically v13 Lite), and they either assume that v12.6.4 is vastly worse than v14, or they misremember its performance. They may have zero experience with v12.6.4 at all.
In reality, v12.6.4 is still really good. I remember when v12.3 came out, and the Tesla influencers were calling loudly for Tesla to unlock unsupervised use. v12.6.4 is even better. To say that it is terrible is just a lie. Undoubtedly, v13 and v14 are both better. But not so much better that v12.6.4 should be considered bad. It’s as good as it was when it was released, and when it was released, it was really good.
What we are witnessing right now is a well-deserved loss of faith in the word of Tesla influencers. They all said v14 Lite was amazing (because they were comparing it to v14 and not v12.6.4), and when we HW3 daily drivers got a hold of it, we realized how disconnected they have all become from what HW3 has been doing for years now. When it comes to evaluating HW3 FSD performance, they just don’t know what they are talking about anymore. That’s why they think v12.6.4 is crap, but v14 Lite—which is clearly no better—is amazing.
Now, there are a very few exceptions. My friend @JonBbC_TechGeek drives a HW3 Model 3 every day, and has been faithfully making FSD drive videos for years. His v14 Lite reactions can be trusted, because he is making direct comparisons between it and the most recent previous FSD version. But even his reviews should be interpreted carefully: just because he loves the destination options and the “Start From Park” button does not mean he thinks the driving itself is smoother. So, keep that in mind.
Anyway, that’s my opinion on the situation. I wrote them without any AI. Yes, I use em dashes. Shift-Opt-Dash. I like them a lot and have been using them since long before ChatGPT existed, which I do not even use. Grok FTW.
I was asking my wife why the last 5 degrees of pre-heating the oven is taking so damn long...her reply:
"It's like the charging curve of a Tesla"
Got it, terms I can understand! 👍
