Osteoporosis is a condition whereby a personโs bones become less dense and more fragile, commonly in the vertebra and wrists. Bone density decreases as we age, especially following the menopause due to a drop in oestrogen.
Osteoporosis is more commonly seen in women over 50.

What equipment do I need?
Technically you donโt need any equipment to complete #Pilates exercises, especially when you first start exercising.
However there are several pieces of equipment that can increase your comfort whilst exercising:
As you become accustomed to Pilates you may begin to increase the intensity of the movements, with some more advanced exercises requiring further equipment:
- Foam Roller
- Magic Circle
- Pilates Ball
- Swiss Ball
- Resistance bands
