@NESturbator@cloutiker@RetroRGB The speed with the default configuration is greater than the older passive-type SD card adapters, and equivalent to the newer semi-passive SD card adapters if you can use baby jumbo frames.
Cube game on GameCube is now released as indev v0.1!
This release includes a new texture pack (shoutout to Pixel Brush!), and there's also support for switching textures, so if you want to use Minecraft assets, you can. You'll just need to bring your own copy.
This is indev v0.1 (Nov 2024), a snapshot of the project at that stage. I'm currently working on re-porting the latest 2026 build to the GameCube, which includes improvements not seen here.
@JnL_SSBM@emu_kidid 1) It's not possible to use the FlippyDrive and the disc drive at the same time. Their dumper alternates between them with a large buffer, and a full reset is involved for each read.
2) SD Gecko and SD2SP2 are already fast enough to not be a bottleneck for 95% of the dump.
I fixed the SD2SP2's performance with the aid of a single OR gate between DI and CS. Swiss v0.6r1666 or later is required to take advantage of this hardware design change.

Announcing PicoLoader, an ODE-based modchip for the GameCube!
Similar to PicoBoot but easier to install, no soldering directly to the GC and other improvements.
Only requires a Raspberry Pi Pico, a flex PCB and a Diode.
And it's open-source: https://t.co/8vTDBKH4Bg
If you have a GC Loader HW1, Swiss v0.6r1695 to v0.6r1867 contain a footgun that can brick your device. Please cease using these releases immediately, especially without supervision.
