@robmaurer Those are not take or pay contracts. They can be cancelled with 90 day notice. So bang them into your model for a few years max but this is not recurring revenue
@niccruzpatane Limited contract and can be cancelled anytime with 90 day notice. Not a great vote of confidence. Imo. Spacex overbuilt and now renting it out for limited time. Not a game changer
@JohnTitor@NOTfunnyparanR@chamath@wholemars Hahaha. Orbital data centers. Sure. First of all the terrestrial ones dont make money and 2nd you dont need own a stake in space x for that
@NOTfunnyparanR@chamath@wholemars They arent. They use this to get out of their space x position and then cancel the contract early next year which they can with 90 day notice.
@MilkRoadAI This can get cancelled as soon as 1st Jan 2027 with 90 day notice period. Google owns a stake in SpaceX and it is no coincidence this is coming out the week before the ipo. They will use the hype to get out of the position and then cancel the contract early next year.
@TheChiefNerd He has no clue just like the rest of us but instead of acknowledging it he pretends to know. This is what makes it dangerous. He is not to be trusted
@LimitingThe You would never put a high multiple on names like Micron that printed negative EBIT 2 years ago and now goes through a super cycle. Highly cyclical businesses like that never re-rate.
