@PlayHighguard @jasontorfin love the game. I had a shower idea about something that could improve 2 points in the game. Adding a contestable spawn point to middle of the map, and you activate it for your team via a key you get from air drop. Bc 1. Airdrops rn aren't really worth fighting over -

@PlayHighguard @jasontorfin And 2. In tense fight for Siegebreaker, running 300+ in-game meters to get back to ur team can pull a lot of tension from that mid-fight. Access to a FOB spawn would be a big incentive & advantage for each team to fight for, and adds a compelling subobjective to matches

@gitgud111 @RealLifeFakeWiz You can do that to start a seige yes, but it isnt optimal. If u either plant or team wipe in OT, enemy base takes -30 dmg. If u wait out the clock on OT, it does start seige on nearest base but no dmg is given to either team's base. In close games, that difference matters

With risk profile that low, you should factor time into returns - the monthly sub fees you pay in eval stage offsets benefits to expected value trading this way

@algoflows The decay effect really only makes them inefficient long term holds. On a 2-3 month time span they can vastly outperform the underlying given you 1. Get the direction right and 2. Dont get caught in extended chop. If ITB rallies over the winter, NAIL would greatly outperform
