Did you know that Aiah Samba, a Sierra Leonean screenwriter based in Los Angeles, wrote four episodes of the popular Netflix series "The Blacklist"?

Samba studied production and screenwriting at Brooks Institute and UCLA Extension, and has worked as a freelance writer for years.

He is currently developing an original TV drama with Overbrook Entertainment.

A sci-fi and comic book enthusiast, he was recently awarded a grant from Break Media to create an original sci-fi short entitled Whipping Boy.

He is also a fellow of the 2018-2019 Fox Writers Lab. Aiah is repped by Mike Vanderhei at RAIN and Danny Alexander at APA.

Forbes has ranked the Sierra Leone Olympic uniform designed by Labrum among its “10 Of The Most Stylish Uniforms From The Paris Games”.

It is ranked fifth above France, Great Britain, The Netherlands, and Australia.

Only the USA, China, Mongolia, Canada, and Haiti are ranked above Sierra Leone.

The kit was designed and produced by Adidas in collaboration with the London-based fashion label Labrum, which is owned by a Sierra Leonean named Foday Dumbuya.

The collection features elements that pay homage to Sierra Leone’s cultural heritage, including windbreakers adorned with a distinctive white and blue print inspired by cowrie shells.
