In each image in the series of works by @PelleCass we see a kind of a still time-lapse photo that compresses a couple of hours and thousands of exposures of a sporting event into a single image that conveys a sense of play, the eeriness of time, and a feeling of Dionysian chaos.

Millions of children have been forced to flee their homes in Ukraine to find safety. In western Ukraine, @mercycorps is supporting a local organization, Kamyanytsya Austria, providing free childcare while their parents figure out the logistics of what's next.📷: @ezramillstein
"Without further support, the situation is going to become even more dire."
Our Sr. Global Photographer, @ezramillstein, spent last month documenting the severe drought in Kenya and Somalia, and working with affected communities to bring awareness to their stories.
Somalia faces a very real threat of famine if the current rainy season fails. 40% of the country is currently facing extreme levels of food insecurity. @mercycorps is working in Jubaland, South West, and Galmudug to distribute cash, food/water, and hygiene kits.📷: @ezramillstein
Hundreds of women in northern Kenya join together to pray for rain—which they haven’t seen in almost a year.
The Horn of Africa has been in a severe drought since last summer.
Our team is providing emergency relief, but we'll need long-term support to combat this crisis.
Amira and her daughter walked more than 100km to escape the effects of drought in their community.
Climate impacts in Somalia are extreme. Our teams are working closely w/ affected communities to meet urgent needs + build a future that's livable for all.
Harrowing stories of #DroughtinSomalia. In #Baidoa, I met a woman who was feeding black tea to her emaciated & frail camel. "I give it the same tea I give my children. We share the little we have. This camel is all I have. It's my life, & I need to keep it alive! 📷@ezramillstein
Taken just yesterday by @ezramillstein. Women and children gathered in a shed on the outskirts of Mogadishu, Somalia after walking for days after the ongoing drought upended their lives.
@mercycorps is currently providing clean water and cash so people can buy food/basic items.
