@_iamblakeley Fam you thought the UMG deal fell through because Zionists were trying to punish TikTok for talking about Palestine. Maybe sit this one out.
@Shloote @Prolife_Sam As someone experienced with faith for the majority of my life and is now an atheist I don’t find that to be true. Nor do I find that to be a productive argument at all.
You’re not going to get an atheist to agree with you and even if you did, again. What do you gain?
@autocorrect2_0 If I want to convince someone murder is wrong I can make very compelling humanist arguments that can appeal to all backgrounds and religions.
For you to convince someone murder is wrong you have to convince them there’s a god, and your god is the one true god.
@autocorrect2_0 Right but it’s not just outside predators infiltrating the church. It’s also the church infrastructure and leadership that has enabled these predators and will move leaders to other locations to protect them. To hand wave it as an outside problem is incredibly insulting.
@autocorrect2_0 Look obviously rape or sexual assault isn’t a feature of Christianity. But this is a cop out and hand wave of what a huge problem this is in the church.
The report that recently came out about SBC churches alone is incredibly disturbing.
@autocorrect2_0 It’s just a little frustrating to be told God is the objective moral standard in one breath and in the next that he had to tolerate things like slavery and slowly change things over time.
@jdunwell As an atheist who sides more with satanism than Christianity I really do appreciate your stance on this. While the imagery may be distressing, Satanism is truly harmless and is essentially secular humanism for those who like to dress up. They do not beleive in Satan.
@HVNYrefugee Yeah we’re definitely not. Satanism has been around since the 60s and they’re just atheist secular humanists who like to LARP.
These are their tenets.
We will continue to be a pluralistic liberal democracy as we have been. Stop whining and fear mongering.
