@OptimumHelp might be able to lie to most folks about "crews are working to restore service," but I'm looking at the cause of my service outage, and nobody's been by in two days. Absolute joke of a company.
I have lost more money to Optimum/Suddenlink fuckups than ANY OTHER COMPANY ON THE PLANET. @OptimumHelp costs me more each month than my fucking MORTGAGE. we need a class action lawsuit.
@Basenull@michalkosinski@EDUreboot We build computers (maybe not your PC, but the servers and infra) so they _cant_ be breached by _anything_.
Not by a really smart person, not by a really fast computer, nothing. These days, the only way to compromise a system is convincing someone with access to give it to you.
@michalkosinski@EDUreboot So it's a smart virus at best. When's the last time a virus hopped from your computer to your cell phone to the phone company?
Never, because that's impossible.
@dystopiangolem @0xmaddie_ @michalkosinski I mean, sure, that could happen. But then you just turn off the computer. Problem solved.
OH BUT IT'S IN THE CLOUD - so, you just turn off the data center.
It's an application. It will never have more permissions than it's granted. And YOU don't have that many permissions.
@Pecker2002 @Morgan_C_Ross@ChuckCallesto Martin Luther King Jr was in solitary confinement for months and he didn't get out and say "I broke the law and I was wrong." He said "I forgive them."
And people all across the south FUCKING HATED HIM for it.
@BonnieJustified@AnnLesbyPhD If you were poor, then it's more likely that Oprah and Kobe and Jay Z paid for your ass to have roads and emergency rooms.
