Big news: I'm helping with @martinkl with a second edition of Designing Data-Intensive Applications! An early release of the first 3 chapters is now available (O'Reilly Learning subscribers only at this point) and we're hoping to finish it next year.

I like to personally apologise to @RaphaelManke and @donkersgood for our actions yesterday. Both Raphael and Luc are tremendous assets to the AWS community and their Re:Invent Schedulers are serving a need for our customers. Raphael's is back, but sorry that Luc won't continue.
@codepitbull Not as bad as yours I think. "Only" a little fracture in the hip. 😅
Don't make the mistake and be too scared to ride the same stuff afterwards. That's a recipe for a mental block.
@codepitbull @joschi83 You're welcome :) Any jdk class used for anything related to date and time that is not in the java.time.* package is directly suspicious.
@codepitbull @joschi83 Are you in control of the formatter being used?
Normally I would ask why you are still using SimpleDateFormatter instead of DateTimeFormatter
Although I don't know if the DateTimeFormatter produces the correct notation you need.
