CONTINUOUS ABDUCTION OF NIGERIAN SCHOOLCHILDREN AND THE COLLAPSE OF SCHOOL SAFETY
After congratulating Nigerian children as they celebrate their day today, my heart remains heavy and troubled, knowing that some Nigerian children have remained in captivity for years. It is a shame that days, weeks, months, and even years have passed while our children continue to languish in kidnappers’ dens, with their heartbreaking images still circulating on social media.
A nation that cannot protect its children from criminals has little but shame to present to the global community. No parent can bear the shame of being unable to protect his or her children, yet here we are as a nation, moving on while our children continue to suffer in forests and captivity for years. -PO
A WARNING TO THE PRESIDENT @officialABAT , GOVERNMENT @NigeriaGov , @nassnigeria@NGRSenate@HouseNGR Governors’ Forum @NGFSecretariat and State Houses of Assembly AND THE NIGERIAN POLITICAL CLASS OF NIGERIA AT LARGE:
DO NOT DARE WISH OUR CHILDREN “HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY” TODAY .
To the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Vice President, the Governors of the 36 States, the Federal Executive Council, the Members of the National Assembly, the State Houses of Assembly, and the entire political class that has captured and destroyed the Nigeria State:
Do not dare.
Do not dare open your mouths on May 27 to wish Nigerian children a “Happy Children’s Day.” Do not dare release the recycled, ghost-written platitudes your media handlers have already drafted. Do not dare stand in front of cameras, surrounded by carefully arranged children in matching uniforms, to perform a tenderness you have never extended to the millions of Nigerian children you have abandoned, betrayed, and condemned to lives of suffering.
You have no moral standing to wish anything to Nigerian children. None.
Consider what you are dishonorably wishing them.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 39 students and 7 teachers seized only days ago, on 15 May 2026, from a secondary school and two primary schools in Ahoro Esinele community in Oriire district of Oyo State- children aged between two and sixteen , snatched from the southwest in a chilling expansion of a terror that you swore would be confined to the north.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 25 schoolgirls of the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Wasagu/Danko, Kebbi State, taken from their hostel at dawn on 18 November 2025, after gunmen killed the vice principal and most of whom are still missing as I write.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 303 students and 12 teachers of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary School in Papiri, Niger State, seized on 21 November 2025 - children aged 10 to 18, boys and girls- whose abduction forced more than 20,000 Nigerian schools to close indefinitely .
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 287 students of the Government Secondary School in Kuriga, Kaduna State, taken by gunmen on motorcycles on 7 March 2024 in broad daylight while you and your political colleagues posed for swearing-in photographs.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 15 children of Gidan Bakuso, Sokoto State, seized from their boarding school on 9 March 2024 as they slept.
You are wishing to the Chibok girls- over 90 of whom are still missing, twelve years after April 14, 2014, while you have moved on, and for your repugnant luxury, speedily rebuilt and redecorated Aso Villa, bought opulent hideous cars, and rotated power among yourselves as if those girls never existed. But their parents who gave birth to them continue to grieve and daily rain curses on the evil leaders that have shown no empathy towards them and their abducted daughters.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the children of Dapchi, Kankara, Kagara, Jangebe, Afaka, Greenfield, Bethel Baptist, Tegina - and to the many whose abductions never made the headlines because Nigeria had run out of capacity to grieve.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the at least 1,799 students seized in a dozen of the largest abductions since Chibok , and to the 670 children affected by at least 10 school kidnappings in less than two years - a litany of horror compiled not by your security agencies, but by international human rights organisations doing the work your government refuses to do.
Part One ………..
“Bola Ahmed Tinubu is afraid of Peter Obi. Atiku Abubakar may gain more if he quits, but what drives Obi is a force beyond him, and he cannot dare quit.”

@Bond_not_james This is verifiably false, and maybe you just did this for engagements. For the sake of clarity using your own metric; Abia and Enugu are top performing States
Nigeria’s elites have sold a false narrative: that economic success is all about exchange rates.
In reality, 90% of their cost base is in dollars, so they benefit while ordinary citizens subsidize their lifestyle.
History shows countries like South Korea and Japan grew by focusing on productivity, not a strong currency. The real issue is Nigeria’s productivity gap—exports should be booming if output matched depreciation.

Ezemmuo hits on something serious and fundamental here: training. Training is a foundational structure of staff development, but across the public sector, it is now a performative act.
We celebrate the capital vote over recurrent costs without analysing the critical components of overhead costs. So year after year, training has suffered declining budgetary allocation, and, where provided, has become a source of lucre.
For the specific example of a Minister of Labour, I do not agree that he needs training in negotiating with Labour Unions, or anyone for that matter. It is not the Minister's work. The relevant department, led by a Director who had spent at least 25 years negotiating with Labour, and his team, engage in the actual negotiations.
The Minister may attend high-level meetings with briefing notes, but the nitty-gritty work is done at the level where institutional memory and capacity reside. Any failures arising from the negotiations are largely due to insufficient investment in building the capacity of Labour Officers and, indeed, the whole bureaucracy.
We need to rethink the celebration of a declining Overhead budget, where training costs, work tools, and other costs critical to success are covered.
As for Media Aides, training cannot address an inconsistent worldview or a lack of basic honesty.
BREAKING! DO YOU KNOW SUBSIDY IS BACK??? This time, it's even worse!

The Gang steals, yet Nigerians pay the consequences at the pump.
For about a year or two now, I haven't really had my health intact. It all started with ulcer pains, chest tightening, bloating then it graduated to heart palpitations, dizziness and irregular body temperature.
I visited the hospitals too frequently, but the diagnosis were ulcer, malaria, typhoid and worse case scenario infection. It became so frequent that it sometimes affected my daily activities as I feel so weak and uneasy most times.
I have never heard of WOFBEC until 2026. I attended virtually from Friday to Sunday, then physically from Monday till the last day. Despite all the symptoms I went with, I made sure to fast till the closing time each day and break only when I return home. Then this 21 days fast came, and I also participated regardless of all the chest tightening.
I kept asking for healing, quoting the scripture 'by His stripes I am healed'. I prayed day and night, participated in the morning prayers, confession and evening corporate prayers.
At the end of the prayers on Sunday, I took my meal and slept, woke up on Monday feeling so refreshed like I hadn't been feeling strange all these while. I felt so light, no pains whatsoever, normal temperature, renewed strength and could feel like I own my body again.
I have come to return all the glory to God who touched me, healed me and made me whole. Dammy

@yinkanubi@lamidex2 I think it's the responsibility of the government through her agency to mould behavior and see that deviants are punished. As long as lawlessness is not treated the cycle is perpetuated, everything & person along it's path suffers, even the people that think they benefit from it
We honour one of our Mothers of Faith in the Lord. Pastor Nkechi is loved, both here and on the other side. With God we believe the anointing and mantle will outlive our Dear Mother Nkechi Ene ☹️

It is the powerlessness of an individual that makes the Devil 'king.' Satan has no real power; he only thrives where there is a vacuum of strength.
Satan is the principal in the school of deception, and he thrives on the ignorance that creates a vacuum of strength.
Where you are right now is a function of the light you have received. When you grow in light, that revelation reaches a point where it exercises unquestionable dominion over darkness, making it impossible for the enemy to occupy your space.
According to Bishop Thomas Aremu, you must maximise these three weapons to stay triumphant:
1️⃣ The Weapon of Light: In this Kingdom, it is your learning that determines your earnings. Only what is renewed is new, and only what is new makes news. Where you are now is a function of the light you have received. When you grow in revelation, your light gains unquestionable dominion over darkness.
2️⃣ The Weapon of Empowerment No power, no motion. The end-time church is a church of raw power. You cannot use the hand of flesh to move the Spirit. Marketplace Christians, especially, need more power to avoid being cheated by the principal of deception.
3️⃣ The Weapon of Faith: Faith is the legal tender of the Kingdom, it can give you what money cannot buy. Faith works more in “application” than “acquisition”. It is acting on whatever He told you to do. Take steps with your faith; move with it; attempt with it.
Don't just read—meditate. Don’t just meditate—manifest. A desperation in your faith can bring about any miracle. Wake up, top up your power, and stop the enemy from playing king in your life.

It was a profound moment of reflection and transformation as the Word on the subject “To Be Like Christ” poured forth with depth, insight, and rich revelation at WOFBEC 2026, themed “Thy Kingdom Come.”🔥
Timeless truths were unveiled, hearts were realigned, and destinies were awakened. As it was powerfully declared:
“YOU LOSE DESTINY, IF YOU CAN’T FIND THE ORIGINALITY.”✍️
This encounter is undoubtedly preparing God’s people for the realities, responsibilities, and rewards of His Kingdom, calling us back to Christ; the original pattern.
All glory to God forever.
Hallelujah! 🔥👏

Happiest and glorious birthday to you, dear @PeterObi and delighted to celebrate you alongside many across the country for your resilience in advancing our Democracy!
On Politics and Civic Engagement, the Greek Philosopher, Plato had quite a lot wise counsels to give that people like me once never even thought about because of extreme distaste for Politics.
Two of my favorites are:
One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.
If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of fools.
It is for this reason that I am one of those that appreciate the political activism of the #Obedients.
Their emergence has done our citizens’ political engagement considerable good and that’s major for our Democracy.
I thank them for stepping up, taking responsibility and awakening Nigerians like our Kenyan brothers and sisters are also doing that “Democracy belongs to Citizens and not Politicians”.
We must all be excited to see more of the continent’s Bests step into the political arena as citizens’ political activism deepen and spread.
This is definitely one key reason to keep hope alive for ultimate Good Governance of our countries and continent. ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

@DrJoeAbah The answer for me is a YES. Joseph is your definition of a typical politician and he never compromised. Politics is not about lying and deception it is about service and sacrifice.
