@aipps_eire We need a careful approach to this issue. Decision makers need to visit public hospitals and see how many foreign doctors and nurses are holding the places together- all those are now being told indirectly to find a different country.

There should be safeguards for legitimate circumstances including parental leave, caring responsibilities, illness and involuntary unemployment.

Those already lawfully resident in Ireland and accumulating reckonable residence and paying taxes under the current framework should not be retrospectively disadvantaged.
