We have received reports of individuals knocking on doors asking for help and to be let inside.
Do not open the door. Speak through it and trust your instincts.

Your doctor can’t do 10 pushups.
But yet you keep trusting them to take care of your health.
Here are 20 mind-blowing things they don’t want you to know about the “sick-care” system:
If you think type 2 diabetes is simply a blood glucose level problem that you can take pills for or inject insulin and forget about, here are some examples of what could happen to you:
1. Cardiovascular diseases such as coronary artery disease, heart attack, and stroke
2. Chronic kidney disease that can progress to end stage kidney disease requiring dialysis
3. Eye problems and potentially blindness due to damage to the blood vessels of the retina (retinopathy)
4. Nerve damage (neuropathy) resulting in numbness, tingling, pain, and weakness. This can affect other organs like the GI system and cause poor gut movement called gastroparesis.
5. Foot complications such as ulcers, poor healing, infections, poor circulation and can lead to amputations
6. Skin Infections and slow healing
7. Increased risk of most types of cancer
8. Increased risk of dementia
Are these complications worth it for you to continue to eat excess sugar and tons of carbs?
Seeing lots of men in their 30s to 40s with cardiac chest pain symptoms after some vigourous snow shoveling last week. If you get new chest pain on physical activity, don't push through it!
Stop, rest up, and get it checked out and possibly referred to a cardiologist for testing.
@tdsb if Toronto sees a snowstorm Friday night as expected, is there a chance that TDsb Saturday programs will be cancelled (ILE programs)? If so, when/how will we find out?
@ValleyBluez559@BeccaLargent@FixingEducation Sadly, this is incorrect. The progress report was excellent. Between the progress &term 1 when there was a decline-zero communication despite myself requesting 3 meetings as I am on top of my child’s education..not one mention of issues until term 1 report came home- then, surprise!
@BeccaLargent@FixingEducation Progress report-excellent. No phone call, email, nothing in the agenda or Google classroom. Grade 4 - 9 yr old child. This is on the teacher.Coming from a family of educators I can say that not all teachers know how to do their job. I wish this was BS.
If you have high blood pressure, your salt intake is NOT the cause of your condition. It’s your poor metabolic health.
Excess sugar and carb intake, leads to excess and prolonged insulin secretion, stimulating salt retention by the kidneys and increased vascular resistance.
@Sflecce@YRDSB Our child’s class schedule doesn’t even meet PPM 160 requirements . Who do we contact about that when the Super and executive super aren’t doing anything? Do you have time for a coffee? @tdsb
