While the guilty party stemmed the water coming in, my father flew the Walrus off. The guilty party ended up with all the skin stripped from their hand.

Hi @James1940 maybe a subject for you and Al to talk about being 80 years ago soon. See attached pics, my father Roly Falk (and Winkle Brown) were surveying German aircraft and he flew many including flying a Me 262 back to Farnborough. It still exists in Johannesburg war museum.
