You completely remind me of a good friend of mine who runs a dog shelter for rescued and abandoned canines. Her heart is so invested in care, compassion and service that she often forgets (or is too busy) to take time for herself.
There are not enough people who have wholesome hearts. So take time for yourself when you need it.
Give yourself something at least once each week. Even if it is only a walk in nature to escape the noise.
Tranquility is not easy for some, but it will bring you peace of mind when you find it.

Detailed investigations go on for long periods because of a few reasons.
Courts, investigators and lawyers are backlogged (the way they prefer)
They can't afford to make mistakes, so getting it right takes time.
As you pointed out in your own exp, people distance themselves from someone with charges like the Tate brothers have. The effects are real when you don't, as you notice with your own 90k drop in engagement.
Be honest, do you really want your own career to suffer for the possible chance that his choices have him on a discrediting pathway?
