LRT.
I remember back in 2012 or so, I was talking with this guy in the U.S, one day, we were talking, & I told him I was hungry. I was so hungry that my stomach hurt badly, & I was crying while typing it. He sent me ₦1,500.
I can never forget that day. The first thing I did was run down to the Malam’s store to buy Indomie to cook.
That’s why, till today, if anyone tells me they’re hungry, I always make sure to send them something or send food.
You never know what people are going through, you don’t know their story. And it’s just FOOD!
The world has gone mad. Someone tells you they’re hungry & asks to borrow £20 just to eat, and the first thing that comes to your mind is that they’re trying to scam you. Then you post it online like a bloody fool that you are & irritants like you are hailing you!
My parents were married for 45 years. For the last 15 or so years, they had a cup of tea together every evening, as long as they were in the same city. And talked and laughed. Even when they fought they had their tea in silence.
Just before he passed away last year, my dad looked at my mom with a smile and said "Patty, I am fine." He died less than 2 minutes later.
It's the only thing keeping my mom sane. Those last words.
wait a few years before you get pregnant after marriage, have fun with your husband, travel, enjoy a family consisting of just the two of you, understand the dynamic of you as husband and wife before jumping into having children within the first year of marriage…
I randomly mourn old friendships that faded/died. I really liked & cared deeply about all the people I got close to. Understandable that life happens and people drift away.
I genuinely hope they’re all living their best lives & experiencing happiness daily.
I’m gonna be completely real here
If you’re a man and you’re incapable of being platonic friends with any woman, regardless of attractiveness or singleness
There is something seriously wrong with you
Not the woman
YOU
The dumbest women are the ones who date or marry yahoo boys!
I have always said this, there are some low life you shouldn’t touch with a 10 foot pole as a woman!
Yahoo boys is one of them!!
As irrelevant as some of the tweets about labour and pregnancy may seem on the timeline, I feel compelled to add my two cents tho nobody send me
Here’s the truth: no man who has ever stepped foot into a labour room with his partner would dare to say half the nonsense some of you are tweeting. But let’s set the record straight.
If you’re even a little curious or smart, you could do a quick Google search for the most painful experiences a human can go through. Childbirth consistently ranks in the top five. Yet some of you minimize it, ridicule the process, and try to score cheap points by calling it “painless.”
Is childbirth a death sentence? No. But can someone walk into that room and not come out? Absolutely. Mothers die. Babies die. Complications happen all the time. And for many women, the trauma lingers long after the delivery.
So if you don’t understand it, respect it. And if you can’t respect it, at the very least, stay quiet
