Really liking the look of this @QualitySeedsLtd Boost HG Alfalfa new seeding! The mix is 90% Boost HG 7% Cow Girl Tall Fescue and 3% Dividend Orchard Grass @CharlesWert1
Received this picture from a client of his @QualitySeedsLtd custom dry cow hay field. It was under seeded with oats last year. Look to be a great stand and a great 1st Cut harvest! @CharlesWert1
Was out checking this @QualitySeedsLtd 50% Forage Peas 50% Oats. This field was under seeded with 90%Dominator Alfalfa 7% Cow Girl Tall Fescue and 3% Dividend Orchard Grass. The Peas and Oats were almost hip height and new seeding was up to my knees!
The Americans have decided this is #NationalForageWeek; I'll jump on that bandwagon. #DYK there are 3.3 million acres of forage crops and pastures in #ontag? That's the largest acreage of any crop grown in Ontario.
Forage supplies have turned a comer on many farms. scouted several client forage seedings last week. Drilled forages into a firm seeded all seeded week May 6. Looking foreword to haylage harvest by July 10.
Short on forage ac from winter kill? Nice weather finally arrives & you’re torn between #plant19 & 1st ct? Maybe early bloom rather than bud is for you this yr. Older article but applicable for the spring we’re having! https://t.co/MtXXoz9sCH #purinaproactiv
Centre St. boat launch is closed until further notice due to higher than average water levels.
Cuthill Lane, Adolphustown and Sherman’s Point boat launches remain open; however, the dock at Sherman’s Point is out of service.

Common leaf spot showing up in this (beautiful😍) 2018 new seeding in Grey Cty. Caused by fungus- cool, wet conditions conducive to development. Lower leaves will drop off eventually as a result. #scout19#hay19#ontag
Never fun when you can pull alfalfa crowns out by hand & wring them out🙈🤢 new seeding West of Kingston- drainage and topography are the defining factors here in winter survival #hay19#scout19
