This is what you call strength in numbers, what a turn out by the farming community. Thanks to all that made today happen, it’s time to stand against what I can only say is a pivotal moment. #FoodSecurity

Albions: Originally known as “Bakewell Blues” or “Blue Albions”, the breed was said to be a cross between the Welsh Black and the White Dairy Shorthorn. In recent years the ‘blue’ was dropped to better reflect the variety of colours. #gonative#heritagebreedsweek
The new RBST Watchlist, published today in a fresh format, reflects growing recognition among farmers and smallholders of the commercial potential and environmental importance of the UK’s rare breeds of livestock and equines.

Spot milk, what spot milk? This cold snap has pretty much dried up what was already, and has been for some time now a pretty thinly traded market. Speaking with several buyers this week who have had to go out in search and buy prices range from 30ppl to almost 32ppl delivered.
So pleased to be a part of this. A comprehensive network of local abattoirs, able to process small numbers of non-standard animals without compromising welfare is essential for a viable sustainable livestock sector. #GoNative
Due to being let down by someone, myself and one other vet student are looking for a lambing placement 23rd march - 6th April. We are happy to travel. Placement provider much be lambing more than 250 ewes and be insured. Retweets would be greatly appreciated! Tia.
@TheRangeUK Appalled by my visit to your store at Meadow Hall retail park today. Staff wearing face coverings as chin guards, on speaking to the store manager it’s not an issue... Maybe some staff training needs to be done! #avoid#notcovidsecure#Christmas2020
