@maklelan reading the da vinci code for the first time and I'm curious what insight you have regarding what information in the book can be considered historical vs fiction (aside from the obvious plot and main characters). Might be a cool tiktok?
How do you make regular exercisers miserable?
Force them to be "as sedentary as possible"!
After 2 weeks of sedentary behaviour:
🔼 Anxiety
🔼 Fatigue
🔼 Anger/Hostility
🔼 Inflammatory response to acute stress
@GregLehman I had to sit out my junior year track season when I was on acutane because running hurt my joints so bad. Pain was gone within a couple months of getting off of it.
@isaacegbertwood From the athlete's perspective, I think many actually perform better time-wise with a chance at winning the heat as opposed to bringing up the rear and losing the pack. It's no fun to be in 1420 shape against a bunch of guys who have all dipped under 14.
@sunsopeningband@Retlouping I would hope a physician who smokes would still encourage people not to smoke. Same for PT’s prescribing exercise. I hate the idea some PT’s have that they won’t prescribe an exercise they couldn’t do. No. Prescribe what’s best for your patient.
@GregLehman@PhysioLowe@McCreesh_Karen@jbthorlund Yes, but if we cast off the silly stuff then we’re likely doing more of the better stuff and having better or more cost-effective results. That’s worth something. I also would like to see more validation of what works rather than just what doesn’t.
@Martin_Nekkolai So I’ve got a question for you. What is FAIS method listed in your profile and does that have better evidence to support it? I’ve never heard of it.
