Auckland Castle excavations Week 2. Recording, drawing and digging sections out with some excellent undergrads. A little cold, a little rain and some shine. Last year it was blistering heat. Can’t win! @ArcDurham @durham_uni

Day 7 - on the North Terrace we had launched an investigation to try to pick-up the wall which runs through the main trench. The investigative team has officially reached natural with no wall in sight, but recording is underway!
