@fw_naetoblaq I listen to something like an audiobook that will have a pretty steady sound (no ads, no big loud noises). Usually something comforting not something I’m trying to actually get thru. If that’s not enough, I start to repeat in my mind everything I hear. Pretty effective.
@spockven I’m still waiting for West Wing Star Trek. There’s a pretty good novel that scratched the itch a bit: articles of the federation. But it’d be fun to actually see it on screen.
@JiltedValkyrie@St1ka Glad it’s not your plan to skip it but you may need some encouragement as you are getting thru it tho. I know I did. But it was worth it in the end.
@ThemeParchive “Not counting partner hotels” is WILD. I don’t know if they still have the perk where you can get into the parks before non-hotel guests. But a few years back that did include partner hotels. No wonder it still felt crowded AF at rope drop anyway…
@Shuttlecock@ittakes2totoku I’m just starting season 3 as well but on a rewatch. Somehow this time around I appreciated way more of seasons 1 & 2 than I had before. Somehow genuinely good episodes and amazing character moments all throughout
@bestofStarTrek Season 1 was middling at best. Season 2 unwatchable. Season 3 had amazing moments but still suffered from the set ups from seasons 1 and 2.
@quantumbiosis@TheCinesthetic Considering I’m on season 2….for the sixth time and I’ve not watched all the trek there is to watch yet. Yeah. This is it for me.
@duolingoespanol@jose_juan_mg Definitivamente me toco aprender por pistas contextuales.
