@AcademyDad1 It was the best move he ever made . Not in football anymore apart from playing for fun, but very successful in the City, and grateful for the opportunities he was given by the academy system even though it was tough being let go a couple of times.

@AcademyDad1 We trialled at other clubs around the country including Scotland and Wales. He eventually got a scholarship at Luton FC and then they got into financial difficulties. The PFA got involved and put him in touch with some American colleges and he eventually stayed for 4 years there
