Britain doesn’t officially recognise polygamous marriages.

But it will happily pay for them.

The wives live as one “family” socially and religiously, yet legally the additional wives are treated as single mothers for benefits purposes.

And the result is multiple housing claims, child benefit for every child, and universal credit top ups.
The more wives and kids, the bigger the payout.

Meanwhile the British taxpayer gets the bill.

This is a good example of welfare arbitrage.
The state refuses to recognise the marriage on paper, then subsidises the exact same arrangement with public money.

Incentives matter, and the system rewards having as many wives and children as possible, as long as you don’t work.

1 man. 3 wives. 11 kids. 0 contribution.

This video of a rescue last night on the Brooklyn Bridge will take your breath away.

High above the East River, NYPD ESU officers climbed onto the Brooklyn Bridge to reach a woman in crisis who was threatening to jump.

For nearly an hour, they stayed with her, spoke with her, and waited for the moment they could safely pull her back from the edge.

The care, courage, and compassion these officers showed was just extraordinary. May God bless them.

It is not possible to overstate how much of a grifter and a fraud Ro Khanna is.

Here's Khanna last month at a rally for Graham Platner. This is after the pro-rape reddit posts, the sexting scandal and after numerous abuse allegations had already come out.

After a year of nonstop talk about victims and survivors of abuse, Khanna (knowing all about Platner's abusive history) ends up at a rally giving him his full endorsement.

Khanna actually said that even though Platner had some bad years, he rejects misogyny now.

After falsely accusing innocent people of being co-conspirators of Epstein, Khanna urged those hurt by Graham Platner to forgive and show grace towards him.

This is sociopathic stuff from Khanna. He's a really bad guy.

NEW: Rep Pramila Jayapal (D-Gaza) is supporting anti-American Jew hater Melat Kiros for Congress.

Kiros refused to call the Boulder firebombing antisemitic, even though Mohamed Sabry Soliman planned the attack for a year & waited until the group assembled before attacking them with Molotov cocktails and a makeshift flamethrower. He shouted political slogans during the attack, including "Free Palestine" and statements directed at "Zionists." After his arrest, Soliman admitted his motive. The connective tissue running through both the Biden and Platner debacles is the press. Not because reporters conspired in a room, but because they picked a side and then behaved accordingly — dismissing, excusing, and waving away every alarm the right raised until the alarm became a fire no one could deny. Here is the irony the media has not absorbed: that protection is not a gift to the Democratic Party. It is a trap. A friendly press that suppresses a candidate’s weaknesses does not make him stronger. It preserves him, unvetted, until the general election — when the shield disappears and the voters who were never told the truth meet all of it at once. Biden was protected right up to the debate stage, and the protection is precisely what left his party no time to recover. Platner was protected right up until he wasn’t.
