@daveintheuk@udakasri@Apelsinklyfta95@Katynurse27@RicardoWensley@JewishCatMother@theRCN Shut up Dave. You haven’t a clue except to say that no one wants to work unsociable hours. Of course no one does, they’re bloody hard, but as nurses we do and the hard work should be appropriately acknowledged which, as a starter for ten, should be through better pay.
Our members have overwhelmingly rejected the Welsh Government's offer. We've asked the Health Minister to resume negotiations urgently.
If there's been no response after five days, we will resume planning further strikes. #FairPayForNursing

Figures released by UCAS show a dramatic decline in the number of people applying to study nursing. This is a damning reminder of how the govt’s failure on #FairPayForNursing is impacting patient care today and damaging our profession well into the future. https://t.co/tpPyQ0pvad
"We need you to take this seriously."
As our fourth day of strike action begins across England, our members call on Rishi Sunak to stop strike action, protect patients and defend our NHS with a fair deal on pay.

A domestic has found the little room with a fold out chair that we sleep in on breaks on nights and has started making it up with fresh sheets every day, and honestly it’s done more to make me feel like a valued employee than anything else this week. I even got a towel tonight!!
People aren’t dying because nurses are striking. Nurses are striking because people are dying. Today RCN members fought for #FairPayForNursing to protect their patients & the future of the NHS.
We'll be back out tomorrow, find your nearest picket: https://t.co/QoroubKPcJ

@HelenaHandcart0 Entitled to your opinion. As are those striking and those who support. Luckily the strikes are still going ahead in the hope that this will mean better pay, more retention and recruitment of nurses and therefore safer patient care for all. It’s not selfish despite your view.
Stop shaming nurses for striking, for wanting to make things BETTER for their patients. Striking is a last resort. What is shocking is how it has to even come to this.
Normally the thought of school closures brings me out in a sweat but on this occasion, this needs to happen, teachers need to strike, to just get the Government to LISTEN!! It’s a last resort, always, to cause disruption, whether to healthcare or in this case, education #strike
