🍔 The US wants to build missiles the McDonald's way
The Pentagon is shifting toward fast, cheap, and mass production—taking inspiration from the fast-food giant's model of standardization and scale.
Instead of producing small numbers of expensive weapons, the US plans to manufacture thousands of more affordable missiles. One company aims to build up to 6,000 hypersonic missiles a year at roughly $400,000 each, using components from the automotive industry.
Washington believes that in modern warfare, the ability to replenish stockpiles quickly can be just as important as the precision of individual missiles.
As I mentioned previously. I am working on a new film about Russian POWs.
From all the footage I reviewed, It's very clear to me that Ukrainian soldiers treat Russian prisoners humanely.
If they are wounded they get exactly the same treatment as Ukrainian wounded.
And overall, Russian soldiers get better treatment in Ukrainian captivity that they ever did in their units from their own commanders.
Another key metric of who are the good guys and the bad guys in this war.
Natalie Harp, 34, is the personal assistant to 80-year-old Donald Trump and reportedly accompanies him virtually everywhere, around the clock. She is said to manage his Truth Social account, print out flattering articles from conservative websites, and carry them in a Lululemon tote bag.
According to two independent books—one by Michael Wolff and another by New York Times journalists Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan—Harp allegedly left admiring notes in Trump's private quarters, including messages such as, "You are all that matters to me." Trump reportedly said that she would "never leave him."
Melania Trump is also said to have found Harp late one night in the president's private residence.
According to these accounts, the Secret Service at one point viewed Harp as a potential security concern because of her unusually strong personal attachment.
Whether the two have had a romantic relationship has never been officially confirmed, and the White House has not responded to media inquiries on the matter.
Harp's brother, who lives in Nicaragua and says he has not been in contact with his sister since 2020, described her relationship with the president as "very unhealthy."
Admitting that Ukraine’s deep strikes “are creating problems, that’s obvious,” Putin also said Kyiv’s attacks were aimed at “distracting our attention and our forces from achieving the main task at hand — the final liberation of the Donbas and Novorossiya.” Seems the Russian leader is intent on demanding more than just the Donbas and continuing his invasion, as we’ve previously reported. https://t.co/RTrQddhZ1t
Old king syndrome is a political state where corrupt officials, eunuchs, and the harem ladies work together or against each other to control a doddering senile ruler to enrich their families and interest groups.
@EuropeanPan February Revolution only happened because the Petrograd Garrison decided to abandon their loyalty to the Tsar.
Loyal troops are loyal until they aren't.
Loyal until they aren't.
Petrograd Garrison had around 200k troops supposedly loyal to the Tsar, but when the protests started, instead of quelling them they joined in and started the February Revolution.
Ex-CIA officer, West: There is no chance of a coup against Putin. Russia is a security state built over 26 years with one purpose, keeping him and his strongmen in power.
300,000 Rosgvardia troops loyal to him. 30,000 elite protective service. All beholden to Putin. 1/
Samsung, SK Hynix, and TSMC source 80% of their WF6 from Japan. Two Japanese companies produce 25% of the world's tungsten hexafluoride. Both Kanto Denka and Central Glass are stopping all WF6 production on July 1. We manufacture chemicals. WF6 is a chemical. The semiconductor industry never asked what it's made from. WF6 deposits the tungsten contact plugs inside every advanced chip on Earth. There is no substitute for running production lines. Qualifying a new supplier takes 12 to 18 months. Building new capacity takes two to three years. China controls 80% of the tungsten powder WF6 is made from. Japan's tungsten imports from China have been zero since February. The two producers survived on stockpiles for five months. The stockpiles are gone. WF6 prices are up 232.7% year over year. Upstream tungsten powder is up 557%. Only six companies produce 90% of the world's supply. Two just quit. Every AI accelerator, smartphone chip, and SSD depends on a gas about to lose a quarter of its supply.
