@CraigHope_DM Very apt. The last time they played in Europe they were banned from north sea ferries for rioting on board ship and pulling the sails down.
Took this photo in 2017 outside St. James Park.
I'd love to credit the artist who created this piece of street art, but unknown to me.
King Kev. The Messiah.
The UK's grid is doing something pretty remarkable today.
☀️ Solar: 31.5%
💨 Wind: 56.7%
🌱 Renewables: 88.5%
⛽ Gas: Just 11%
⚡ Power price: -£4.22/MWh
We're generating more electricity than we need, exporting the surplus, and wholesale prices have gone negative. Clean energy isn't just about cutting emissions - it's reshaping the economics of electricity.
@mattletiss7 Ok, just change the result of the first game v Boro to a 3-0 loss...it's a standard way of dealing with misdemeanour, no victimisation there, just regular rules.
Then let the system work as normal.
Southampton would still be out 4-2 on aggregate and deservedly so.
In 2024, The Sun led with several stories regarding Starmer receiving clothes & spectacles from a Labour donor - even repeating accusations he’s “King of the Freebies”
In 2026, The Sun hasn’t published a *single story* about Farage receiving a £5m gift from a Reform donor
24/04/1982:
“Old football was crap”
“The standard was poor”
“All long balls, no skill”
Mick Channon’s goal for Southampton vs Liverpool in 1982 disproves all of the above and more.
You won’t see a better team goal.
Pep who?
@Alex_tony100 @TheAthleticFC Did you write this 12 months ago?
Isak was sold last summer, Trippier leaves next month. What new PIF scrutiny? It's been present for 4 years now. The club can't fart without someone from the FA taking a sample, having it analysed and action taken to mitigate it.
@TyneFlashback That silhouette isn't exclusively Newcastle upon Tyne, it contains a large church / cathedral which is actually in Newcastle Australia, thats what you get for trusting the internet...
