Such security failure at the premise of a diplomatic mission raises serious security concern. We urge the Indian authorities to ensure safety and accountability. Diplomatic missions must remain secure and be respected.

The Deputy Commissioner of Uttara, Ashraful Azim, is the son of Ashraful Azam, the Chairman of Shailkupa Upazila in Jhenaidah district and an Awami League leader. This is why the police in Uttara are so aggressive.

On July 19, in Narayanganj, MP Shamim Osman and his son Ayon Osman opened fire on protesters. Shamim Osman, the top godfather of Narayanganj, personally came down with weapons and a group of followers on this day. Several local journalists also joined in with weapons. The video has been verified by Corruption in Media.
It's unbearable to watch the videos of police brutality in Bangladesh. Yet, the world must witness what has been done to the students. What does the world expect us to do now? If we fight back, can you blame us? Answer us. Your silence is the greatest strength of Sheikh Hasina. Because of your silence, she has become ruthless.
In this clear footage, you can easily notice, BA 6047 Lieutenant Colonel Md.Redwanul Islam, commanding officer of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), taking targeted shots using an AK-47 assault rifle. Simultaneously, members of the Bangladesh Police are using Chinese Type 56 SKS rifles to aim and shoot at unarmed civilians.
The use of such lethal weapons to disperse a civilian crowd is a clear violation of the Geneva Conventions; lethal force against unarmed civilians is explicitly prohibited and is classified as a grave breach of international humanitarian law. Bangladesh is a signatory to these conventions. This constitutes a war crime.
