@redrapids Said another way, without someone to show them the way, they teach themselves the wrong thing, never learning how to write something that can be _used_ before they try to make something that can be _re-used_
@redrapids I think you’re right, but also when people come to FP for the first time, they often don’t know what you mean when you say that. So instead, they write a lot of unhelpful helper functions _so that_ they can be composed, when a single function would have been better.
