Since the debate on bringing back the fuel subsidy started, a lot has happened. His handlers now post ten times within 24 hours.

He has pandered to the Hausas, those he didn’t find worthy for juicy appointments. Now the governors have spoken. They said, “we are not responsible for the economic hardship.”

He quickly called APC governors to the Villa for an emergency meeting. Yesterday, his wife launched another audio $1 billion "Renewed Hopelessness" program. Meanwhile, they are still talking about CNG on paper after 3 years.

Something has shifted. Aso Rock is in panic mode. All their foot soldiers have been visiting media houses to try to persuade the public & calm angry nerves. They knew they could have done a lot to ease the suffering, but they are heartless. They have no humanity in them.

They removed the subsidy on fuel & electricity, yet subsidized their own lifestyles. Nigerians were left to suffer & gnash their teeth for 3 solid years. He borrowed recklessly & squandered it. Come 2027, we shall vote them out with anger

Worrisome Abduction Story From Borgu, Niger State

I am deeply disturbed by the reports of the mass abduction of Nigerians in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State, following attacks on communities including Dekara and the abduction of worshippers during Juma’at prayers.

Reports indicate that as many as 600 people, predominantly women, children and elderly Nigerians, may have been taken. The exact number is still being verified. Tragically, reports also indicate that about 30 people may have been killed.

This is one case too many.

The fact that Nigerians can be attacked in broad daylight, in their place of worship, abducted in such numbers and taken into the forests should shake the conscience of every Nigerian and compel urgent action from government.

Our people are being left vulnerable while the political class appears increasingly consumed by the next election.

Elections will come and go, but the lives of Nigerians cannot be recovered once lost.

Government must treat this as an emergency: deploy overwhelming intelligence-led security operations, rescue every person in captivity, secure the affected communities and dismantle the networks and enclaves enabling these terrorists to operate.

The Police complain that difficult terrain and a collapsed bridge hampered the initial rescue response in Borgu, which supports my consistent plea to concentrate on repairs of existing infrastructure.

I stand with the Niger State Government, the good people of Niger State and the families of those abducted and killed. We must bring our people home and restore the confidence that government exists to protect them.

A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK. -PO

He removed fuel subsidy on day one & told you to your face that there was nothing he could do to cushion the rising inflation, biting hunger, & hardship. He didn’t stop there. This man hiked electricity tariffs & borrowed wetin no good.

Then he squandered everything. He devalued the currency 100% & supervised the worst corruption since 1984. He even tried to blame the governors for the Cost-of-Living Crises.

Now he’s talking cheap fuel, as if he was sworn in yesterday. As if he means anything he says.

He is talking CNG on paper after three years.

OBJ, UMY, GEJ, & PMB paid subsidy & did NAPEP, SURE-P, & NSIP. This one removed subsidy & told you to go fuck yourselves.

Access Bank is trending because a lady who’s been hustling as a cleaner in Dubai and saving in the bank from 2022-2025, returned home to see her account wiped to ₦0.00

In 2023 they blocked the account from withdrawing, so she turned it into a savings account.

But kept sending emails asking them to update her details, adding her Dubai phone number and email, to regain access, but they didn’t approve it, despite providing all the requested documents.

Upon arriving in Nigeria this week, she went to the bank to upgrade her account, which was successfully done. However, she discovered that her balance was ₦0.00. Apparently, there have been deductions of ₦20,000 randomly since October 2025, despite the account being blocked from withdrawals.

Access Bank provided her a beneficiary’s Opay and Moniepoint account, asked her to take it to the police for investigation. But she says she has no money to pursue a case.

Nigerians are also bringing up similar unresolved issues with Access Bank dating to 2018.

Someone said they left ₦150k in Access Bank in 2018, returned Nigeria in 2025, only to find the account empty. Access bank allegedly then told them it was “bank charges” deductions that gulped the ₦150k.
