@MaryamNSharif 60% jump sounds big,but it’s built on a shaky comparison. 1 paid Monday versus an average of 3 fare-free days isn’t 🍏 -to-🍎Were those days comparable in weather, events, school schedules,or commuting patterns? If not, that “60% increase”could just be noise dressed up as impact.
I rarely read the filth you publish, and have never responded to it, for the same reason I avoid pornography. It’s unhealthy and I don’t want to encourage it. But in this specific case I understand exactly what you’re doing and I’d like to stop it now. I have never said or suggested that “everyone needs to know where their local Chabad is,” or anything remotely like it. I didn’t attack or even criticize Chabad, an organization I’ve mentioned precisely once in my life. Last week I said I believed that IDF soldiers in Israel have received third temple patches for their uniforms from Chabad. I believe that’s true. Please let me know if I’m wrong, not that you care. The point of your post is to blame me preemptively for violent attacks on American Jews that you believe are coming. This is an absurd slander of course. I abhor violence against innocents, which is why I am disgusted by what Israel has done in Gaza and why I argued against the current war in Iran. As a Christian and an American I also vehemently oppose punishing anyone on the basis of bloodline. The concept of “Amalek” has no place in Western civilization and certainly not in my country. I am therefore strongly opposed to anti-Semitism, precisely as much as I am to the anti-Arab hate you promote or the anti-white bias embedded in the US government and our largest institutions. It’s all immoral and indefensible. I believe in the inherent rights of the individual because I believe in God. What you’re doing divides this country more than you likely understand. I hope you will stop.
Turns out the only difference in the actual answers to questions provided by @mosharrafzaidi versus the guy that was bouncing around on screen the last time they tried is that Mosharraf can make a couple of jokes and speak in a Canadian accent whilst spewing rubbish.
Do you stand by your tweets?
When I made them yes I did. (Meaning I now don’t)
What has changed since the tweets other than that you’re in government?
India attacked us. We need to be safe
What does that have to do with your earlier position?
It absolutely does have to do with my earlier position.
What are you saying Imran khan is a security threat?
“Yes he absolutely is.”
Queue charming rhetoric.
So going by that logic Mosharraf; you’re either saying Imran khan was always a security risk even back when you thought him being taken away from the electoral process and being arrested was disgraceful; which means nothing has changed other than your stance.
Or yalda is right and the only thing that has actually changed is that you’re in government now.
#PAKWatch🇵🇰: Today, protesters gathered to demand the IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF IMRAN KHAN from Adiala jail in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
PAK = MILITARY RUNS THE SHOW.
FREE IMRAN KHAN.
@AzazSyed You can’t demand a handshake when one side isn’t even allowed to stand. You can’t preach cooperation when the playing field is rigged. You can’t compare Pakistan to the U.S. when the institutions aren’t comparable.
First fix the system. Then talk about unity.2/2
@AzazSyed Asking Pakistani politicians to “unite like in America” ignores reality. Unity only works when the system is fair — when elections aren’t engineered, opponents aren’t jailed, media isn’t gagged, and invisible forces aren’t choosing winners.1/2
This really is cultural torture. Imagine you were part of Mamdani’s win — knocked doors, phone banked, and even overcame a series of abductions and attacks from the state — and then on election night it’s reported you won in a landslide. Then the vote counting is stopped and in the sloppiest, most brazen way, it is simply declared the next day that actually Andrew Cuomo won.
That’s what happened last February in Pakistan, with the full support of the United States and the Biden administration.
Now their Cuomo is rewriting the Constitution to add a 27th Amendment effectively making him dictator for life. Trump called him “my favorite field marshal.”
Some are speaking of the huge protocol accorded to Sharif/Munir in DC. Don’t agree. The PM was received by a US mil officer. The delegation then received the standard motorcade one would expect for the drive from Andrews AFB to WH.
Protocol was basic. This wasn’t a state visit.
